Is Soccer Clash safe?
Soccer Clash
Soccer Clash is a short, one-on-one football game against strangers, launched in June 2026. Ads track players by device ID, paid packs hold random reward drops with no published odds, and clubs and a friends list have added social contact that the help centre does not yet explain.

How the score breaks down
The overall score is the weighted average of these factors. Scoring rules
Privacy30% of score
46 out of 100, WeakApple's label lists device ID and advertising data as used to track you, and Google Play says the game collects installed apps and in-app messages and shares device IDs and approximate location for advertising. Wildlife's policy allows cross-device ad tracking with partners such as Meta, Google and AppLovin.
Security30% of score
55 out of 100, FairGoogle Play says data is encrypted in transit. Progress is backed up by linking Facebook, Google Play or Apple sign-in, with no two-step login of Wildlife's own, and we found no bug bounty on HackerOne or Bugcrowd. No breach of Soccer Clash accounts has been reported.
Transparency and control15% of score
56 out of 100, FairDeletion runs through the "Delete my Wildlife Account" option on Wildlife's privacy dashboard, as the game's help centre has no deletion guide and no article on chat or clubs. The privacy policy dates from March 2023, the game has no parental controls, and a refund for a child's purchase gets the account banned.
Scams and harmful content15% of score
52 out of 100, WeakThe App Store lists loot boxes, simulated gambling and messaging and chat, and Google Play rates the game Everyone 10+ while the terms require age 13. Real-money packs include random Golden Drops, and we found no published odds. Players can report others from their profile, and usernames are filtered.
Regulatory record10% of score
86 out of 100, ExcellentWe found no fine, order or published regulator review of Soccer Clash or Wildlife Studios by the FTC, Brazil's ANPD or Senacon, EU authorities or the UK ASA. The game is only four months old, and Wildlife's DSA reports are a legal duty, not a regulator's review.
Is Soccer Clash safe for kids?
Soccer Clash is acceptable for a teenager who wants a quick football game, but it is a young game whose social side is still taking shape, and its shop leans on random rewards. Each match is a short one-on-one duel against a stranger. The concerns are tracking for advertising, paid packs with random drops and no published odds, and clubs and a friends list added over the summer without a help article that explains them.
We score it 55/100, a point below its stablemates Tennis Clash and Zooba (both 56) and level with Sniper 3D (55). It shares their privacy policy and ad partners. Where it falls behind is clarity: Zooba publishes crate odds and Tennis Clash documents exactly what opponents can send. Soccer Clash does neither yet.
Wildlife released the game worldwide in June 2026, and it is still small. It has about 8,800 App Store ratings across the 24 countries we checked and more than 500,000 downloads on Google Play. In October 2026 it ranked in the top 100 free iPhone sports games in nine of those countries, as high as 15th in Brazil.
How old do you have to be?
The ratings disagree. Apple rates Soccer Clash 13+ and lists simulated gambling and contests as infrequent, plus loot boxes, advertising and messaging and chat. Google Play rates it Everyone 10+ for mild violence and suggestive themes, with warnings that users interact and that purchases include random items. Wildlife's terms, shared by all its games, set the minimum age at 13 and require a parent's agreement for players under 18.
So an Android phone set for a 10-year-old will install a game whose maker says it is for 13 and up. Wildlife does not check ages itself.
Who can your child meet in the game?
Every match is against a real player chosen by trophies and recent results, not age. The version history shows how the social side grew. Clubs arrived in July 2026: a player can create or join one after reaching Tour 2, and wins earn points for the club in its own league. An August update added a friends list, built from club members and match history, so players can see who is online and challenge them to friendly matches.
What we could not confirm is how players talk. Wildlife tells Apple the game contains messaging and chat, and its Google Play form says the game collects in-app messages. But none of the 69 articles in the Soccer Clash help centre explains chat, emotes or clubs; the overview article only invites players to join a club. Usernames pass through a filter and can be reported, and the help centre says players can report others from their profile for review by Wildlife's Trust & Safety team.
Wildlife's company-wide moderation applies here too. It says an AI moderator censors messages that break its code of conduct, with human review of reports. Its EU transparency report for 2025 covers all its games: it took more than 256,700 enforcement actions, and child safety was the second-largest category of abuse it detected, at 15.7%.
What the game collects
Apple's privacy label lists device ID and advertising data as used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. Coarse location, gameplay content, customer support messages, user ID and diagnostics appear as collected but not linked to you. Google Play's form adds that the game collects the list of installed apps and in-app messages, and shares device IDs and approximate location with other companies for advertising and analytics.
The privacy policy, effective since 3 March 2023, allows interest-based ads "including through cross-device tracking" and names Meta, Google and AppLovin among the ad partners. Wildlife says it does not sell personal data, but shares it for advertising unless you opt out. Rewarded videos in the game pay coins or cards for watching ads supplied by third parties.
Accounts are only as safe as the login behind them. Progress lives on the phone unless it is linked to Facebook, Google Play or Apple sign-in, and Wildlife says an unlinked account that is deleted cannot be recovered. We found no two-step login of Wildlife's own, no bug bounty and no reported breach.
Golden Drops and personalised offers
The App Store lists loot boxes, and the shop explains why. Golden Drops are reward bags whose prize tier ranges from Rare to Legendary. Players earn a limited number each day by winning, and Daily Sales packs, sold for real money and refreshed daily, also contain them. We found no odds for Golden Drops in the help centre.
Offers are tuned to each player. Wildlife's help centre says many are "personalized and contextual", shown at specific moments, and that some discounts are random, "almost like spinning a fortune wheel every day". US prices on the App Store run from $0.99 for a Blue Champion Badge to $22.99 for a Cards Pack, and a Pro Pass season costs $19.99.
Refunds are narrow. Apple handles App Store refunds, and Wildlife cannot approve them. For Google Play, Wildlife considers requests within 14 days, and if it refunds a purchase a child made without permission, it bans that game account for good.
How to set up Soccer Clash for a teenager
- On Android, set the Play Store age limit to 13 rather than relying on the Everyone 10+ rating.
- Turn on Ask to Buy on iPhone or purchase approval on Google Play before the first Daily Sale appears.
- Look at the club and friends screens together once your teen reaches Tour 2, and decide whether joining a club is allowed.
- Show how to report a player from their profile.
- Link the account to Apple or Google sign-in with Two-factor authenticationSigning in with a second proof of identity on top of your password, such as a code from an app, a security key or a passkey.More in the glossary turned on, rather than Facebook.
- Refuse tracking when the iPhone asks, and use Wildlife's privacy dashboard to opt out of ad sharing.
How we scored it
Regulatory record (86) is the strongest factor, with no fines or orders found but no regulator review of a game that is only four months old. Privacy (46) is the weakest, because the game tracks players for ads and Google Play lists installed apps and messages among the data collected. Scams and harmful content (52) sits below Tennis Clash and Zooba because the game sells random drops without published odds and adds social features its help centre does not explain.
Questions people ask
What age is Soccer Clash for?
The US App Store rates it 13+, citing infrequent simulated gambling and contests, loot boxes, advertising and messaging and chat. Google Play rates it Everyone 10+ for mild violence and suggestive themes, with warnings for user interaction and random items. Wildlife's terms set the minimum age at 13, with a parent's agreement for players under 18.
Can you talk to other players in Soccer Clash?
Matches are one-on-one against strangers, and since July 2026 players can create or join clubs once they reach Tour 2. An August update added a friends list built from club members and match history. Wildlife declares messaging and chat on the App Store, but its help centre does not describe how chat works, so check the club screens with your child.
Does Soccer Clash have loot boxes?
Yes. The App Store lists loot boxes, and Google Play warns of purchases that include random items. Golden Drops are reward bags whose prize tier ranges from Rare to Legendary. Players earn them by winning, and Daily Sales packs bought with real money also contain them. We found no published odds.
Can I get a refund if my child bought something in Soccer Clash?
Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases, and Wildlife cannot approve or refuse them. For Google Play purchases, a parent can ask Wildlife's player support within 14 days. Wildlife says that if it approves a refund for a minor's unauthorised purchase, the game account will be permanently banned.
How do I delete my Soccer Clash account?
The game's help centre has no deletion guide. Use the "Delete my Wildlife Account" option on Wildlife's privacy dashboard, which the App Store listing links as the game's privacy policy, and have your player ID ready from your profile. Wildlife says deleted accounts without a linked login are erased for good.
